Ways To Serve At Kids Church

GREETER
Our greeters are so important as the “first impression” our families experience when coming to KC! They welcome and help parents with the Check In process and partner with the staff and team leaders to ensure the safety of our kids.
Commitment – One service, once every 4 weeks
SERVICE FACILITATOR
Team facilitators help in the operation of a service for a specific age group. They partner with the Kids Church Staff to lead, encourage, and provide direction for their team, and are ready to problem solve as situations arise. They provide a fun and safe environment for the kids and their team.
Commitment – One service, once every 4 weeks
VOLUNTEER WITH KIDS
Build relationships with our kids and help create a welcoming community among them. During the service Leaders play, interact and engage our kids in conversation and activities.
Commitment – One service, once every 4 weeks OR 3 weeks on, 1 week off
SPECIAL NEEDS BUDDY
Buddies hang with and guide any children who need extra support in order to get the most out of Kids Church. Sometimes that means one on one, and other times it is just keeping an eye on and encouraging kids with special needs in participating with the group.
Commitment – One service, once every 4 weeks
TEACHER
Creatively communicate Bible truths using the curriculum provided by our staff along with activities that help engage the kids.
Commitment – Varies with each age group
WORSHIP
Create an atmosphere of worship through music that inspires heartfelt singing, dancing, jumping, and shouting for joy in His presence. Our worship leaders are humble in spirit, energetic, flexible and musically gifted. They have the ability to relate and interact with children in age appropriate ways, always engaging them in worship.
Commitment – One weekend, once every 4-6 weeks
TECH TEAM
Techies provide support to the word and worship team through interactive multimedia. It’s important that our techies are prompt, organized, have basic computer skills and the ability to run a soundboard.
Commitment – Varies with each age group
ADMINISTRATION
We always need help around the office. It is everything from making photo copies, filing and phone calls to preparing crafts and other projects. Our administrative volunteers help us “behind the scenes” at Kids Church.
