 AMY NEWBOLD, Women & Community Life

Amy comes to Southern California from The Pacific Northwest via a 10-year stint in Chicago. During her time in the Windy City, she served on staff at Park Community Church and played a little part in the film, Divergent. The Lord then led her to Los Angeles and Christian Assembly in January of 2015, opening the door for her to join the CA Women’s team. Amy’s greatest longing is that God’s daughters would know their worth in the eyes of their Father and feel empowered to know Him better, serve Him well, and proclaim His name without fear. Some of her other loves include mountains, tasty food, movies, great music, funny TV, time with friends, coffee, and sports—Go Seahawks! 

 

HEATHER UHL, Female Pastor of CA Students

Heather went to college in Colorado but spent her summers back home in Minnesota working as a bible camp counselor. She met her husband Tyler on staff there and two years later they got engaged in a canoe in the middle of a lake and got married at that same camp. They fell in love with California when they moved here from Chicago so that Heather could begin classes at Fuller Theological Seminary. She has a heart for walking alongside students in their faith journeys and is thrilled to be a part of what God is doing at CA! Heather loves camping anywhere she can clearly see the stars, dances better when wearing a costume, and finds it difficult to spend less than an hour in a thrift store.
