Payment Schedule:
As a reminder here are the payment dates for the year:
*All payments are non refundable.
January 6th through January 31st: $50
February 1st: $250 payment due (a total of $300)
April 1st: $250 Payment due (a total of $550)
May 1st: Final payment of $300 due (total cost of $850)
*We encourage every family who registers to apply for a Campership. You may apply for a Campership during your Hume registration that will be sent to you directly from Hume. At the end of your Medical Form questions, there will be a place to select whether or not you would like to apply for a Campership.
Please read the cancellation policy carefully.
- If you cancel for any reason, the full payment due at the time of cancellation will not be refunded.
- For example, If you cancel your spot after February 1st, you will owe $300.
- If you cancel after April 1st, you will owe $550.
- If you cancel after May 1st, you will owe $850.
This policy is a Hume policy, not a Christian Assembly policy. We just want to make sure that you are aware of this important information.
At Hume (beginning with the bus ride), I will:
- Be kind and respectful to all leaders and students
- Follow the instructions given to me by Hume and the CA Kids Church Leaders
- Use my words in a kind and encouraging way.
- Tell my leaders if I notice or if I am being affected by any inappropriate behaviors that include bullying, unkind words, fighting or inappropriate language.
- Engage in all activities and be ready to learn about Jesus.
At Hume and on the bus, I will NOT:
- Bring any weapons
- Bully other kids which includes using unkind words, fighting or inappropriate language.
- Use or bring an electronic device
- Be a distraction during camp especially during chapel times or at meals.
Our Discipline Process:
- First step – Warning and one-on-one conversation.
- Second Step – One-on-one conversation plus consequence.
- Third Step – Trey, Julianne, or Hailey with Hume staff will decide if the child will be sent home.
I will be sent home if I:
- Invade the privacy of another camper.
- For example – Going into a shower while another camper is bathing or entering a stall while another camper is using the restroom. As well as entering the private changing area while another camper is changing.
- Steal from another camper or leader.
- Continue to be untruthful or lie after multiple warnings are given.
- Physically fight with another camper.
- Verbally or physically bully another camper.
- *If your child is sent home, a parent will be required to pick them up from Hume within 24 hours.
Kids Church Staff and Leaders are committed to:
- Handling each situation with grace and truth.
- Always thinking the best of your child.
- Lovingly correcting your child with the truth of the Bible in mind.
- Keeping your child safe at all times.
- Helping your child have the best camp experience.
BEDDING
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Twin bed sheet
CLOTHING
- Pants
- Shorts
- Swim Shorts/Swimsuit (one piece for females is required)
- Sweatshirt/hoodie
- T-shirts
- Shoes – regular use
- Shoes – to get wet
- Socks – bring extra
- Sandals- for pool and shower times only
- Underclothes
- Hat
Optional Western clothing (cowboy/cowgirl hat, clothing, etc.)
TOILETRIES
- Two towels (shower and pool)
- Soap/Shampoo
- Personal hygiene items
MISC
- Bible
- Pen/notebook
- Flashlight
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Reusable Water bottle- This is required!
- Optional Decorating supplies for wagon (I.E. dollar store party supplies)
● No electronic devices unless approved. (this includes phones, smart watches, ipads, etc.)
