VOLUNTEER PAGE - HEADER

Here are the “Next Steps to Get Involved” for the different volunteer roles:

MENTOR

Next Step to Get Involved: (Must follow all steps)

  1. Complete our two (2) online forms:
    1. Kids Hope USA Volunteer Application
    2. Foursquare Church – 9.2 Child and Youth Protection Code of Conduct
  2. Email Kids Hope to schedule an interview with the Kids Hope Director, Sarah Dornbos.

STOP HERE UNTIL AFTER THE INTERVIEW

NEXT STEP: TB SCREENING

  1.  Schedule an appointment with your medical provider or at a local site (CVS, Target, etc.)
  2.  A TB screening form will be provided to take with you to have your medical provider complete.
  3.  Email the completed TB test form to Kids Hope

NEXT STEP: LIVE SCAN (FINGERPRINTING)

  1. We will provide you with the correct form and assigned location to complete this process.
  2. Once completed, you will email a scanned copy of the form to Kids Hope

Although we will work to find the best match for each volunteer, because of the nature of the work we do, not everyone is a match for our program. We reserve the option to refuse applicants if we feel they are not the best fit. We strive to balance the skills, time constraints, and desires of each individual with the needs of the young people that receive our services. There are volunteer opportunities for a variety of skill sets and time commitments.

PRAYER PARTNER

Next Step to Get Involved: Click HERE to access our Prayer Partner application. Upon submit your application will go directly to Kids Hope and a follow up email will provide the next steps.

EVENT TEAM VOLUNTEER

Serve in areas of hospitality and hosting special events (parties for the kids and their families at CA, by assembling themed crafts/games or serving at a game or food station, etc). Commitment Level: 1 or 2 special events during the school year
