Getting to Know Your Group

As people come to your group, many are hoping to connect and find community.  It’s helpful to take a few minutes at the start of group to welcome and get to know people.  This can take as little as 5 or 10 minutes!

Here’s a list of 10 icebreakers and questions you can use at the start of each group.

1. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
2. What is your favorite TV show?
3. If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it and why?
4. If a movie was made about your life, which actor/actress would play you and why?
5. What was the high and low of your week?
6. What was the best part of your week/weekend?
7. What is one thing you are thankful for this week?
8. As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
9. What’s something on your “bucket list”?
10. If you could travel anywhere right now, where would it be?
