A.A. Co-founder Dr. Bob stated frequently that the Book of James, Jesus’ sermon on the mount, and 1 Corinthians 13 were absolutely essential in the early A.A. program. This group will spend time showing the relevance of these three Bible segments to A.A. principles, practices, and basic ideas. The group will use “The James Club” book as a guide to a line by line study of each of the Bible verses, a line by line comparison of those verses with the relevant Big Book and Twelve Step ideas which they spawned, and a proven way of applying the exact principles and practices of the early A.A. groups. The James Club group will have an open format.
